RuneScape:Featured articles

Some articles are so good that they should be featured on the Main Page. Doing so will cause many people to notice that article, as when people visit this wiki, they instantly go to the Main Page.

Criteria

On this page, contributors can add articles that they think should be featured on the main page for a whole month. However, articles must meet the following:

The article is well written, comprehensive, factually accurate, and neutral.
The article must follow RuneScapeWiki style guidelines
The article must not be over 32 kilobytes
The article's pictures must look nice and not sloppy/be all over the place

How to list an article

Put {{featured}} on the talk page of the page you wish to be featured.
Click this article's entry.
On the page, place ==[[Page name]]==, then your reason. Save.
Come to RuneScape:Requested Featured Articles
Click "edit", scroll to the bottom, and place {{RuneScape:Requested Featured Articles/Page name}}.

Once this is completed, vote (say you support, don't support, yes, no, etc.) on the article! Five votes will determine whether the article will be featured or not featured.

Candidates

Ranged

it's well formatted with pictures of the weapons, level requirments, and even how to utilize the weapons. it is the best ranged guide i have used, better than all the other fan sites i use and i use a lot. good job whoever made itHartra34 19:19, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Oppose in comparison to the magic guide which has been a featured article, it is bland and uncolourful, not all the information is included, e.g. tzhaar weapons, and it lacks pictures of range in practice. Bob2006ty^{_{(RUNESTORM333)} talk}

Slayer

A truly inspired page on Slayer. It is short and still one of the best guides on the skill. Especially, since it carries some solid advice on how the various ways to train this difficult skill. Training suggestions are hard to put in a neutral and objective fashion, but this page really stands out in this respect. Agility

Except for the redlinks in some places, I think this is pretty good! It needs a few pictures, but the whole article (especially the Shortcut table) looks like featured article-calibur to me.
